ZerôPâŷ Money is a payment protocol and terminal that completes and cryptographically signs a transaction entirely offline, then syncs and settles automatically the moment any connection — even a brief one — becomes available.

1. A silicon-level Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) gives every terminal a unique, un-copyable hardware identity.
2. ECC P-256 elliptic curve cryptography signs each transaction on-device, offline.
3. Distance-bounding checks stop relay/replay attacks — a common weak point in offline systems.
4. The signed transaction is held as a cryptographic offline token for up to 72 hours.
5. The moment the terminal reaches a Solar Mesh Hub or any connectivity, it syncs and settlement completes through our licensed payment rail into the merchant's bank.

This isn't a concept. The core protocol has been formally verified using TLA+ (the same formal-verification method used to catch real bugs in systems like AWS and Azure before they ship), and our Paystack merchant integration is live today.
