Idk, tbh I can kinda see his point prioritizing the research of cognition > health There are already countless universities and institutions researching improving health (near endless people researching it tbh), but nearly no one seeking to improve cognition and iq just for the sake of it (the reason being that academics in medicine are only approved to do research that furthers improving health and illness and nothing else). Medical research is very limited to illness treatment, theyre almost never approved to do research for the purpose of achieving super human goals lol. As a goal - Improving iq just for the sake of improving iq is an (unfairly imo) unfilled and under prioratized niche.
