  4. it appears that the cause of hair loss is scalp tension caused by tense muscle
  5. this is why massage helps because it treats the root cause

  7. anyways, over time this creates an inflammatory phenotype
  8. which is why cinnarizine helps, stuff like ginkgo biloba as well
  9. this inflammation causes scar tissue to form around the hair root which limits blood flow
  10. this is why vasodilators help
  11. the limited blood supply also limits oxygen availability which is necessary for estrogen synthesis, so hormone profile is shifted more towards DHT

    yes but watch the video there's finesse to it. You need to prevent friction but apply as much stretching force as possible

  27. Ah, a non biohacking friend rubbed the inside of aloevera leaves on his head. He discovered (while making dreadloogs to cover his bald spot) that this works (for him) and was geniously suprised. Maybe someone wants to repeat the experiment (especially if you already got a plant that you can cut into pieces) No idea why it worked or how much it can restore. He got and european african mixed ancestory. No idea if that influenced it as well.

    Hair shredding is unpredictable. The effects that were observed with that single anecdotal evidence can be coming from anything else, tho' the aloe vera can be the culprit but only because of the microdamage it creates on the skin, the prostaglandin effect is in the wrong direction which is bad. I am looking to create an all natural /only because of legality/ cream that targets all of the mechanisms of hairloss I listed at the beginning of this thread. Already found ways to cause the microdamage chemically, increase prostaglandin E2, decrease androgen activity, cause vasodilation. All we need is prostaglandin D2 inhibition now.

    the easyest test. Someone rubs aloe on half of his skull. If it grows, it's worth looking into. If it doesn't . yeah one aloe plant less, that's it

    long eyelashes are perhaps more useful than hair. does make me think about safety of hair treatments around eyes
