workflowr checks: (Click a bullet for more information) ✔ R Markdown file: up-to-date
Great! Since the R Markdown file has been committed to the Git repository, you know the exact version of the code that produced these results.
✔ Environment: empty
Great job! The global environment was empty. Objects defined in the global environment can affect the analysis in your R Markdown file in unknown ways. For reproduciblity it’s best to always run the code in an empty environment.
✔ Seed:
set.seed(1)
The command set.seed(1)
was run prior to running the code in the R Markdown file. Setting a seed ensures that any results that rely on randomness, e.g. subsampling or permutations, are reproducible.
✔ Session information: recorded
Great job! Recording the operating system, R version, and package versions is critical for reproducibility.
✔ Repository version: 2dee29f
wflow_publish
or wflow_git_commit
). workflowr only checks the R Markdown file, but you know if there are other scripts or data files that it depends on. Below is the status of the Git repository when the results were generated:

Here we give instructions for starting the Shiny server which will create an interactive plot from the results of the Gaussian mean estimation simulation study.
First, you need make sure that the following R packages are installed on your computer: dplyr, ggplot2, cowplot, shiny and rmarkdown. See the “Session Info” at the bottom for the versions of the R packages we used. Once you have installed these packages, run this code to verify that the packages are installed successfully:
library(dplyr)
library(ggplot2)
library(cowplot)
library(shiny)
library(rmarkdown)
Now you are ready to create the Shiny server with this command:
rmarkdown::run("../shiny/gauss_shiny.Rmd")
The interactive plot will be launched in your Web browser, or in an RStudio panel, depending on whether you are using R or RStudio.
