This reproducible R Markdown analysis was created with workflowr (version 1.6.2). The Checks tab describes the reproducibility checks that were applied when the results were created. The Past versions tab lists the development history.
Great! Since the R Markdown file has been committed to the Git repository, you know the exact version of the code that produced these results.
Great! You are using Git for version control. Tracking code development and connecting the code version to the results is critical for reproducibility.
The results in this page were generated with repository version a6fe134. See the Past versions tab to see a history of the changes made to the R Markdown and HTML files.
Note that you need to be careful to ensure that all relevant files for the analysis have been committed to Git prior to generating the results (you can use wflow_publish
or wflow_git_commit
). workflowr only checks the R Markdown file, but you know if there are other scripts or data files that it depends on. Below is the status of the Git repository when the results were generated:
Ignored files:
Ignored: .Rhistory
Ignored: .Rproj.user/
Untracked files:
Untracked: analysis/key_drivers.Rmd
Unstaged changes:
Modified: analysis/_site.yml
Note that any generated files, e.g. HTML, png, CSS, etc., are not included in this status report because it is ok for generated content to have uncommitted changes.
These are the previous versions of the repository in which changes were made to the R Markdown (analysis/index.Rmd
) and HTML (docs/index.html
) files. If you’ve configured a remote Git repository (see ?wflow_git_remote
), click on the hyperlinks in the table below to view the files as they were in that past version.

Welcome to the FACE-IT GitHub pages site. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 869154. The primary purpose of this site is to provide a convenient user interface for the summaries of the drivers of change in the European Arctic as well as the meta-database for the data needed by the various work packages (WPs) in the FACE-IT project. As analyses are completed to understand the drivers of change at the FACE-IT study sites they will be added to this site.
Please use the tabs at the top of the site to navigate. Clicking the “Meta-database” tab will go to the page that contains summaries of the key drivers of change throughout the FACE-IT study sites as well as the meta-database. The “Analyses” tabs contains discrete analyses performed on data in the Arctic that may be of interest to FACE-IT members and the broader public (currently empty). To see the raw code used for the workflow/pipeline of these analyses please follow the link in the top right of this page to the source code
repository. Once there the raw workflow code may be found in the code/
folder in various scripts, and the markdown files for the analyses may be found in the analysis
folder. The functions etc. utilised throughout the code base may be found in the code/functions.R
script. The code used to create the figures and tables may be found in the code/visualising.R
script. Please note that not all of the objects used in these scripts are saved in the GitHub repo for this project as many of them are far too large. For these larger files one will need to request access to the FACE-IT pCloud folder. Or one may search the meta-database for links to where the original data may be found.
A short summary of the FACE-IT project:
Glacier fronts and sea ice systems are hotspots of biodiversity. Their retreat will pose threats to Arctic coastal ecosystem function and eventually local livelihoods. The Arctic is a harbinger of the consequences of multiple global and regional environmental change on ecosystems and livelihoods: The overarching objective of FACE-IT is to enable adaptive co-management of social-ecological fjord systems in the Arctic in the face of rapid cryosphere and biodiversity changes.
